Wow! An aerial battle going on, even as I type this!

If you know hummingbirds, you know they are incredibly territorial. Movement caught my eye as I was reading some news, so I got up to see what it was. Two male hummingbirds giving me an aerial Ballet/Battle/Stand-Off at my feeder on the balcony.

Finally! My little girl Hummingbird has a Companion!

Whoo Hoo!! Today, I saw the girl hummingbird with a friend! He may have been here before, but today is the first time I saw him. I'm really excited now! LOL

The first year that I planted the Great Blue Lobelia, they were gorgeous! They had such promise and were so beautiful with the Yellow Coneflowers and the Pink Joe Pye Weed.
